Scoop up the excess with a spoon. Place a handful or two of Host Dry Carpet Cleaner over the spot.
Gently brush the cleaner back and forth and down into the carpet pile with your fingers or a soft brush.
Brush in all directions! Be kind to your carpet; don’t scrub. (Using the Host Dry Cleaning Machine is an even easier and more effective way of brushing.)
Pack the area with more Host Cleaner. Allow to dry completely. This may take 24 to 48 hours. Afterwards, vacuum thoroughly. If traces of the spot remain, use liquid Host Spot Remover.
